朴詩媛 Siwon Park
韓國籍大提琴家朴詩媛為1997年國際藝術家大賽得獎者,並於同年在美國卡耐基音樂廳舉行其紐約首演。
朴氏為美國茱利亞音樂學院及曼哈頓音樂學院的畢業生,在校其間獲校長榮譽大獎和Hans &Klara Bauer大提琴獎學金。活躍於獨奏和合奏音樂事業,以獨奏者身份演奏海頓及聖桑的大提琴協奏曲,並曾在美國、香港、南韓舉行個人巡迴演出。她也熱衷室樂演奏,為紫荊三重奏的成員,並於林肯中心、國家現代音樂節和香港電台第四台演出。她曾擔任維也納VIMC音樂比賽,Tom Lee音樂比賽和HKGNA國際音樂比賽的評委。
朴氏現為香港小交響樂團樂師,並任教於香港演藝學院及香港國際學校(HKIS)。
A native of Seoul, Korea, Siwon Park won the 1997 Artist International Competition and was presented as the Recipient of The Special Presentation Award in her New York Recital Debut at Carnegie Hall.
A prizewinner of other competitions including the Weschester SUNY, Korean Monthly Music Magazine Competition and the Youth String Orchestra Competition, she has made solo appearances of the Haydn and Saint-Saens Concertos in Carnegie Hall, New York and in Korea, as well as the Brahms Double Concerto in Hong Kong and Korea. Recent recitals took her to Kumho and Young San Art Halls, Sejong Concert Hall and Perigee Hall in Seoul as well as City Hall Concert Hall in Hong Kong. Ms. Park was also invited to be a jury member at the VIMC Vienna, Tom Lee and HKGNA International Music Competitions.
Park studied at The Juilliard School and later on graduated from the Manhattan School of Music, where she received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees under the guidance of Paul Tobias, Zara Nelsova, Myung Wha Chung and Ardyth Alton. While attending at Manhattan School, Ms. Park had the honor to be recipient of the President Marta Istomin Award and the Hans & Klara Bauer Cello Scholarship. Her chamber music coaches were Jerry Grossman, Nathaniel Rosen, Yehuda Hanani and Alan Stepansky as well as members of the Guarneri, American& Vermeer String Quartets. She participated in the music festivals of The International Symphony Orchestra, Israel, The National Orchestra Institute (MD) and National Repertory Orchestra (CO) among others. As a recitalist, chamber musician and soloist, Park has performed in Asia, Europe and the U.S.A. She gave quartet recital at Alice Tully Hall in Lincoln Center, played in Musicarama – the International Contemporary Music Festival Concerts and recorded for RTHK (Radio 4) in Hong Kong. She is also a member of the Bauhinia Trio.
Currently, she is a member of the Hong Kong Sinfonietta and the HKS Piano Trio. She is also a faculty member of The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts and teaches at the Hong Kong International School.
查海倫 Helen Cha
青年鋼琴家查海倫,現為《樂•心》演奏會系列音樂總監,以及聖庇護十世音樂學院駐院藝術家。
查氏並於2005年以一等榮譽畢業於香港演藝學院鍵盤系,於美國伊斯曼音樂學院完成演奏家證書、鋼琴演奏與樂理教學雙碩士及音樂藝術博士學位。她曾聯同與香港小交響樂團、摩爾多瓦國家室內交響樂團、華茲堡市交響樂團、泛亞交響樂團以及香港芭蕾舞團演出,足跡遍及美國、英國、意大利、白俄羅斯、摩爾多瓦、南韓和中國大陸。
她曾獲音樂事務處、香港鋼琴音樂協會、香港鋼琴教育專業學院及香港演藝學院暑期鋼琴節邀請,主持公開講座、工作坊和大師班,亦主持過香港電台第四台節目《寫意室樂》、《德布西印象》及《美樂無休》。
Hailed as a “deeply expressive” pianist in Music and Vision, Helen Cha is the Music Director of Musica del Cuore and the Artist-In-Residence at Academia de Música S. Pio X.
Claiming top prizes at the 12th Hong Kong (Asia) Piano Open Competition Open Class, Piano Texas Concerto Competition, Eastman School of Music Concerto Competition, and Thousand Islands International Chopin Competition, Cha has given concerts in U.S.A., U.K., Italy, Austria, Belarus, Moldova, South Korea and mainland China, collaborating with the Hong Kong Sinfonietta, Hong Kong Ballet, Moldova National Chamber Orchestra, Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, Pan Asia Symphony Orchestra, among others. She has given workshops, lectures and masterclasses presented by local universities, Music Office (LCSD), EXCEL Summer Piano Festival (HKAPA), Hong Kong Professional Piano Education Academy, Hong Kong Piano Music Association and guest faculty at the Hong Kong International Piano Performance and Education Conference (2013-2015). She is the presenter of “Chamber Fragrance”, “Debussy Recollection” and “Non-Stop Classics” on RTHK, and a featured performer in Hong Kong Sinfonietta's Gold Record “This is Classical Music 3” (2014).
Cha finished her Bachelor Degree with first class honours in 2005 under Gabriel Kwok. Subsequently, she earned the Performer's Certificate (2007), Master of Music (2007), Master of Arts (2009) and her Doctorate of Musical Arts (2010) at the Eastman School of Music with highest academic achievements, and was appointed the Master and Doctorate Marshals respectively in 2009 and 2010 by the Dean.
