Organ

To promote organ music and cultivate local organists, the Academia offers long-term organ courses that provides systematic training to deepen students’ understanding of the instrument and improve their playing skills. The program is designed to allow students experience organ music from multiple perspectives. In addition to weekly lessons, students may also participate in concerts organized by the Academia.

The Academia’s academic year runs from September to July of the following year, and is divided into three semesters. Each academic year includes 36 lessons, combining both group and individual instructions. This structure encourages students to learn from each other and exchange ideas.

Course content is adjusted according to each student’s abilities and level. A mid-term assessment is held in the middle of each academic year, during which the instructor reviews students’ learning progress. At the end of the academic year, students are required to give a final organ performance, which serves as their assessment exam.

Application and enrollment information for the long-term organ courses is usually announced in mid-June. Auditions take place in mid-July, after which the admission results are announced and tuition fees are collected by the end of July. Lessons begin in September.
